outcome: mannequins shot through city reflections on display's glass. 135 shots.
these images are achieved by shooting the display through the glass, not composites or double exposures. sans a little bit of processing there is no manipulation here.
Equipment:

this concept was simple; following through was not. my idea was to just shoot window displays: shows fashion and it won't have people. i wasn't aware that i'd have such a hard time shooting the displays with a wide lens and not show any pedestrian foot traffic. i headed eastward towards 5th Ave on 26th street when i reaching 5th Ave i zig-zaged uptown until i hit 56th street. eventually i hit a stride and before i knew it i had filled all my memory cards and went on a desperate search to store a to purchase another. I've noticed (and had it pointed out) that New York City architecture is a prevalent theme in a lot of my work and i feel that in some way some of the images can give a fleeting sense of a narrative. i feel like these images combine my normal street photography style with something maybe, somewhat, fashion related.
Afterwards i combined them in a manner that i feel somewhat reflects an architectural aesthetic:
